The inspiration I gained
It came from knowing you
As your words touched
My loving affections grew

I know I will never forget
All those times we shared
Your words reached me
In knowing that you cared

Special feelings inspired
I shall remember evermore
The boost I had needed
Enabling my heart to soar

Interacting heart to heart
Love came shining through
You gave me inspiration
Of which I will forever value

Key To My Heart

I had closed the door upon my heart
And wouldn't let anyone in,
I had trusted and loved only to be hurt
But, that would never happen again

I had locked the door and tossed the key
As hard, and as far as I could,
Love would never enter there again,
My heart was closed for good

Then you came into my life
And made me change my mind,
Just when I thought that tiny key
was impossible to find

That's when you held out your hand
And proved to me I was wrong,
Inside your palm was the key to my heart ...
You had it all along

I can't stop thinking of you,

As you are holding me tight.
See you're the only one for me,
I knew this right from the start.

As I look back in reverie
My life you are a part of,
The sentinel of memories,
The keeper of my heart

As I look back on how we met
'Twas fate at best you see
A soulmate that was searching for
A soulmate such as me

As I look back on words we shared
Your words so very sweet
You fill my life with happiness
You make me feel complete

The keeper of my heart you are
The watcher of my soul
With tenderness, and loving heart
You make me feel so whole

Because you returned to me my soul,
And when I gave it back to you,
I felt, "This is what makes me whole."

An empty heart is all I saw,
Then you handed me my core,
And when I gave it back to you,
I felt, "This is what makes me more."

A paralyzed passion is now alive,
You gave me back your love,
And when I returned it back to you,
I knew it fit me like a glove.

A hopeless faith no longer exists,
You've earned my faithful trust,
And when I gave it back to you,
I discovered this is a "must."

You filled me and completed me,
Made me all that I can be,
I would love to give this back to you,
It is all that makes me "see."

Gratitude is not enough to give,
For you to understand,
I need to follow, for once, my path,

When the sun is shining brightly,
Birds sing sweetly from high above,
Butterflies flutter in its warmth,
Like my heart dances with your love.

Sun rays are living nourishment,
Of God's creations, large and small,
Slowly blossoming, budding flowers,
Sprouting seeds into trees so tall.

The sun promises a new tomorrow,
Like my love grows for you each day,
Blooming with sun rays of your love,
As you guide me along the way.

I'll never forget the way you looked
When I saw you there that night;
The way you just seemed to glow
In the warm and gentle light.

If every time you crossed my mind,
a drop of rain should fall
We could swim forever,
in the greatest ocean of them all.

If every time I dreamed your face,
A flower bloomed anew,
I could walk eternally
in my garden next to you.

If every time I imagined your smile,
a star was placed in sight,
Darkness would never fall upon
our love's endless light.

And if every time I needed you,
A bird sang its song
Our symphony would keep on playing
long after we are gone

You make me feel like everything will work.

Like life has hope and some meaning.

Someone wants to see me!

Someone wants me to call!

Someone is so wonderful!

Someone is so mending to my soul!

You have put a smile on my face.

I just hope I can put one on yours too.

Please, please be mine forever

So I can go on with this smile on my face

Without it feeling the least bit out of place.

A Thousand Words Couldn't Express

A thousand words could never express the amount of love I have for you.

The ocean could never hold the tears that I have cried, because I need you.

The sky could never hold all of the stars that I have made a wish upon, wishing you were here with me.

You are my heartbeat... my soul mate... my life.

I hope you understand the true meaning and greatness of these three simple words...

I love you.

sends searing pain through my heart.
I think back to a year ago,
when I thought we'd never part.
My love for you just won't die down -
it just grows with each new day.
I wish you'd dare to look at me
and hear what I have to say;
"I love you and I want you back - "
but these words you just won't hear.
You don't seem to remember them -
all the memories I hold dear.
You were my first kiss, my first love
and now you don't even care.
How could you just blow it away?
We were the perfect pair.
you seem content to let me go -
You're doing fine as you are,
while I'm still missing how we were.
We had the best love by far.

Almost a whisper of a sound
They mingled with the stillness
And a feeling so profound
I first heard those words
Such a long time ago
But now my world has smiled
My face began to glow.

I longed to hear those words again
Bringing the winds of change
I no longer felt I had to abstain
From feeling joy instead of pain
I said those words first
So soft yet so sweet
Magically and lovingly
Our eyes would meet

Her reply came next
Forever to endear
As those wonderful words
Now flowed into my ears
"I love you!" I said,
And my words echoed back
From my lover's lips they came
Precise and intact

My spirit soon stirred
My soul was renewed
My heart beat loudly
As my thoughts flew
Over hills and valleys
Through time and space
I kissed her sweet lips
Gently caressing her face

My tears flowed freely
Gentle tracks down my cheeks
Overwhelmed by my silence
I was unable to speak
Always and forever are
These moments with you
They will be like a dream
That somehow came true.

A FRIEND FROM ABOVE....

I prayed for you before we met,
Not knowing who you'd be.
I asked the Lord to send a friend.
One chosen just for me.

I asked that they'd be Godly,
With wisdom of His ways.
A friend to help and guide me
I the troubles of these days.

So often in life, we need someone
To listen while we talk.
Someone who will not condemn or judge,
But encourage us as we walk.

The narrow road we choose to follow
May sometimes make us stumble.
But to have a friend to catch our fall,
Teaches us to be humble.

When I asked the Lord to send a friend,
Though many came and went.
He gave much more than I ever asked,
For you are the friend He sent.

WILL WE EVER

Will we ever touch and hold hands,
will we ever walk in the sand...
will we ever walk along the beach,
so we can have memories for us to reach.
will we always be in a huddle
so we can never kiss and cuddle.
Will we ever dance in the moonlight,
or even make love during the night.
Will we always be this way,
where we never speak what we feel,or not know what to say...
